Battle beyond the battlefield: propaganda
Propaganda is the more or less systematic effort to manipulate other people’s beliefs, attitudes, or actions by means of symbols. The so called „golden age“ of propaganda dawned during the Wolrd war II, when the ideologies of nazzi Germany and communist Russia collided.
Trakai history museum presents a collection of public proclamations – propagandistic publications, printed during the World War II, which shows how governments of both nazzis and communists used printed word in order to control human minds.
